Hi. I’m Samantha, your average 40-something year old chick. Just to get this out of the way, I didn’t title or create this page – I swear I’m not that conceited. My wonderful husband created it for me as a way to get me to get off my butt and write. Some stuff about me – I’m from small-town Ohio, I’ve been in the Air Force for 22+ years, I recently moved to a tiny beach town in Florida, I occasionally remember how to speak Arabic, and in 2012 I learned that I had gone from a lifetime of normal tests to full-blown invasive cervical cancer in one year. Probably should have led with that, huh? Nah – it’s not who I am, and it doesn’t define me. It’s just something I feel the need to write about. Enjoy.
